MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT POLICY
1. PURPOSE
This Marketing Communications Consent Policy explains how IPK may send optional marketing communications where a user has chosen to give consent.
This Policy is separate from operational, transactional, security, verification, auction, account and contractual communications that may be necessary for use of the Platform.
2. OPTIONAL CONSENT
Marketing consent is optional. A user is not required to consent to marketing communications in order to register, access an account, view eligible Platform content, submit property enquiries or participate in Platform workflows where otherwise permitted.
Where consent is requested, it should be given by a clear affirmative action, such as ticking an unchecked consent box.
3. TYPES OF MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Where consent has been given, IPK may send communications about:
- future properties;
- future campaigns;
- IPK services;
- property-related updates that may be of interest;
- similar promotional or informational communications.
4. COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
Marketing communications may be sent by email and, where lawful and consented to, by other electronic communication channels provided by the user.
IPK will not treat consent to marketing communications as consent to unrelated third-party marketing.
5. WITHDRAWING CONSENT
A user may withdraw marketing consent at any time.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
Users may withdraw consent by using any unsubscribe mechanism provided in a marketing message or by contacting IPK at info@ipk.pt.
6. RECORD OF CONSENT
IPK may keep a record of the date, time, account, IP address and technical information associated with a marketing consent decision in order to evidence compliance.
7. RELATIONSHIP WITH PRIVACY POLICY
This Policy should be read together with the IPK Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Personal data used for marketing communications will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection and electronic communications law.
